The presidents of the Asian Football Confederation and Fifa attended a ceremonial ground-breaking ceremony this week for a long-planned new football stadium in Putrajaya, Malaysia.

The venue will be owned by the AFC and located 30km from the confederation's headquarters in Kuala Lumpur. The AFC said it will be a "state-of-the-art" development, with features including seating for 10,000 spectators, a pitch graded at the highest quality by Fifa, and high-quality facilities for media.
