Abu Dhabi-based investment and holding company ADQ has signed a wide-ranging deal with the National Basketball Association (NBA), through which it will serve as the presenting partner of this year’s pre-season games in the city.
The multi-year collaboration is designed to engage fans and youth basketball players in the capital of the United Arab Emirates. ADQ will also host and support the NBA’s grassroots basketball programmes in the UAE, as part of the league’s existing agreement with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi).
