Abu Dhabi T10 Cricket League adds Aldar Properties as title sponsor

The Abu Dhabi T10 cricket league has signed up real estate developer Aldar Properties as its new title sponsor.

The tournament’s chairman, Shaji Ul Mulk indicated to Gulf News that the deal will run for three years. He said: ‘’This is one of the biggest corporate partnerships that the Abu Dhabi T10 has achieved and it reflects the growing popularity of the UAE’s home-grown 10-over format professional international cricket league.

The news arrives ahead of the third instalment of the competition which sees it held in Abu Dhabi for the first time after it signed a five-year, multi-million dollar deal with the Abu Dhabi government in March 2019.

This saw the country added to the title of the event, which will be now be known as Aldar Properties Abu Dhabi T10. It also incorporated purchase of one one of the eight competing teams, which will now be known as Team Abu Dhabi.

It will take place from November 14-25 and feature significant cricketing names such as Eoin Morgan, Moeen Ali, Shahid Afridi and Lasith Malinga.
