Founded last year and giving 24 leading European clubs the chance to pit their best young stars against one another, the NextGen Series will be exclusively distributed by ESPN in the United States, Brazil, Latin America, the Caribbean, Oceania and the Middle East. The agreement takes effect from the current 2012-13 season through to 2015-16 and all matches will be carried live on broadband platforms ESPNPlay.com, WatchESPN and ESPN3. Additionally ESPN International will air 18 matches on its television networks worldwide this season, including the semi-finals and final. The agreement comes hot on the heels of NextGen’s four-year broadcast agreement with Eurosport.
