来自Two Circles(体育营销代理机构)的最新分析显示,由于Covid-19病毒肆虐带来的传染病,原定于2020年举行的全球体育赛事会被取消或推迟,因此2020年的全球体育赛事可能会减少近一半。


在经济收益方面,Two Circles估计,这将导致全球体育行业收入减少616亿美元。今年收益将降至737亿美元,而2019年的收入则为1353亿美元。而此前的估计显示,到2020年,体育行业收入将增长至多5%。

Two Circles将“重大体育赛事”定义为一个涉及专业运动员的赛事,预计出席人数至少为5000人。而其预测今年晚些时候赛事可能性的模型,则随着感染率和确定的日程安排的改变而改变,该模型每天都会更新一次。

根据目前在德国、韩国和新西兰等国的恢复赛事计划,Two Circles估计9月份将有5467场比赛,占全年体育赛事总数的整整五分之一。
