澳网总奖金提高至4900万美元

今年澳大利亚网球公开赛的总奖金将增加14%,提高至7100万澳元(约合4900万美元)。

今年澳大利亚网球公开赛的总奖金将增加14%,提高至7100万澳元(约合4900万美元)。

前几轮出局选手奖金的提升幅度最大。资格赛出局选手将会获得2万澳元的奖励(上涨1/3),打入首轮的选手会获得9万澳元的奖励(上涨20%)。男女单打冠军将分别获得约412万澳元奖金(上涨2万澳元)。

澳网CEO克雷格·蒂利表示:“长期以来,我们一直致力于改善广大国际网球选手的待遇……今年增加的奖金,将主要向出局较早的单打及双打选手倾斜。”

外界认为,低排名选手收入不高是网球运动被赌球入侵的原因之一。去年,国际网球廉政机构成立的独立调查委员会发布一份报告称,全球只有250到300名网球运动员能实现收支相抵。

2020澳网将于1月20日到2月2日间举行。
