而今年,CBS直到2月3日第53届超级碗开赛前数小时才公布已售出所有广告时段,去年,NBC在爱国者和老鹰开球前48小时才发布类似消息。

FOX将明年超级碗30秒广告卖出560万美元的价格,CBS今年同类商品的售价为520万美元。

FOX之所以提高广告收费,一方面是受本赛季NFL估值上涨的影响,但最重要的原因是:FOX和NFL达成一致,将超级碗每节广告暂停数从5次减至4次。

在将所有赛中广告时段售出后,FOX正寻求以200万至300万美元的天价出售赛前和赛后广告。

“我们已经卖光了超级碗赛中广告,”FOX体育营销执行副总裁赛斯-温特说,“坦白讲,确实还有很多客户没抢到,他们要么是没准备好创意,要么是手慢了一点,现在,我们拿出赛前和赛后广告时段来满足他们的需求。”

据报道,CBS从去年的超级碗广告销售中赚到3亿零8200万美元,低于2018年NBC的4亿800万美元和2017年FOX的4亿1900万美元。第53届超级碗直播期间平均观众人数为9820万人,这是2008年以来的最低纪录。

温特还透露,超级碗当天会播出几段时长超过一分钟的“长篇”广告。
