SportBusiness provides these services to you on the basis of the following Terms & Conditions (“Terms”):
1.1 In placing an order for goods and services through this web site you agree to be bound to the Terms set out below. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should leave the website now.
1.2 We reserve the right to change these Terms from time to time by posting any changes to their content on this web site. The new terms will be effective immediately from the time that they are posted.


2. Use of the content of our web site:

2.1 We permit you to retrieve and display the content from our web site on a computer screen, to print individual pages on paper and to store pages in electronic format on disk (but you do not have permission to store the information on a server or other storage device that is connected to a network) for your personal, non-commercial use.

7.1 Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, we shall not be liable to you whether in contract, tort (including negligence and breach of duty), strict liability, or otherwise whatsoever for any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of contracts, loss of revenue, or for any special, indirect or consequential loss of any nature whatsoever arising directly or indirectly out of your use of our web site or under any contract between us and you.


8. Formation of a contract:

8.1 The contract for purchase of our goods and services is in English.

8.2 We accept orders at our discretion and reserve the right to reject an order. If we accept an order from you, the contract is subject to these Terms in their entirety.

8.3 The goods and services displayed on our web site constitute an invitation to you to consider purchasing these goods and services. For the avoidance of doubt, the goods and services displayed on our web site do not constitute an offer for you to purchase these goods and services.

8.4 No contract for purchase of items placed in your electronic shopping basket exists between us until Net Bank email you an acceptance of your order.

8.5 All contracts for purchase of our goods and services (save for orders cancelled prior to dispatch) are filed in our records for at least 2 years from the date of the contract and may be viewed by you via the account history link.


9. Placing an Order:

o Items which you wish to purchase should be placed in the electronic shopping basket facility. You can remove items from your shopping basket at any time prior to submitting an order for a particular item.
o By providing the delivery name and address and registering your contact and payment details, you are offering to purchase the goods and services selected.
o We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase goods or services from our web site on account of, but not limited to, the unavailability of products, errors in product description and pricing, and our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment for the goods and services selected.
o Should you not be entirely satisfied with your order, please email the Publisher at andyr@sportbusiness.com
o In the event that we reject an offer to purchase goods or services from our web site, we shall notify you by email that your order has not been accepted.
o Orders for goods and services are only deemed to be accepted upon confirmation by our Payment Service Provider that payment for the goods and services has been successfully processed. No contract for sale and purchase of the goods and services exists between you and us until payment has been successfully processed.
o Orders shall only be fulfilled upon receipt of full payment from you.


10. Prices:

10.1 All prices for goods and services are contained in our price list which is clearly displayed on the website.

10.2 Prices for goods and services are those which are current on the price list at the date the order is submitted by you to us through our web site facility.

10.3 All prices are subject to delivery charges and Value Added Tax at the rate currently in force at the time of the contract.

10.4 All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and are exclusive of VAT.

10.5 The price displayed upon initial selection of the product to be purchased does not include postage but does include packing costs.

10.6 Full price- Product costs, postage and packing costs shall be displayed in your shopping basket prior to submission of your order at the check-out stage.

10.7 All payments must be in Pounds sterling.

10.8 Payment must be made by Debit or Credit Card.

10.9 We reserve the right to change the price of the goods and services we offer on the web site without notice.

10.10 In the event that an incorrect price for a product or service is displayed on our web site, we will not be bound to accept orders for products or services at that price.

10.11 All goods and services are dispatched by Royal Mail or reports via courier. We do not provide any warranties as to the time taken to deliver the goods to you.


11. Amendments to our range of products and services:

11.1 We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any or all the goods and services we advertise on our web site at our discretion and without notice.

11.2 We reserve the right to give advanced notice of any changes to these terms and conditions at any time, whether by notice on our web site or by contacting you directly.


12. Product Description and Display:

The magazine SportBusiness International is a minimum of 60 pages, 90gsm stock, with 170 gsm cover. It is full colour.

Reports are comprehensive and between 150 and 200 pages long.

12.1 All the images, including pictures, illustrations, photographs and graphics, and their descriptions shown on our web site are for general guidance only. As with all web-based imagery, there may be some variation in quality, colour and reproduction when compared to the printed article.


13. Your right to cancel an order:

13.1If you enter into a contract with us and change your mind, you may cancel your order within 7 working days of the date of the written confirmation of your order or before the delivery date you have specified when placing your order, whichever is the earlier. Due to the nature of our service and fulfilment process once an order or card has entered into the Royal Mail postal system, we are unable to retrieve or stop that delivery.

13.2 A cancellation is only effective if it is in writing and is received by us within 7 working days of the date of the written confirmation of the order or the date for delivery specified when placing your order, whichever is the earlier. Cancellations is writing must be made by email to andyr@sportbusiness.com or to our postal address.

13.4 Any goods in respect of which an effective written cancellation has been received after dispatch to you must be returned to us by you at your expense within 14 days of receipt. No refund of payment shall be given until we have received the returned goods.

13.5 In the case of goods returned in accordance with clause 13.4, a refund to your credit or debit card will be made within 30 days of receipt of the returned goods.


14. Quality guarantee, refunds and returns:

14.1 We endeavour to provide the highest quality products.

14.2 In the unlikely event that any of our goods supplied do not meet our quality standards please return the item within 14 days of receipt to our Customer Support at our postal address at your expense and we will offer you (the card holder who ordered from us)-

14.2.2 a replacement of that returned good to the same value for another occasion to be used within 6 months of the original purchase date.

14.3 A full refund shall only be provided in respect of goods and services ordered at the ‘standard’ purchase price. Goods and services purchased at any promotional or discount price shall be calculated by reference to their actual purchase price.

14.4 Refunds:

14.4.1.If you change your mind after making a payment on account or by credit/debit card you may request a refund by e-mailing our customer services under the following circumstance:

14.4.2.1that you cancel your order in writing by email or to our postal address before the despatch date that you select when you ordered the goods or within 7 working days of the date of the written confirmation of the order, whichever is the earlier. For the avoidance of doubt, due to the personal nature of the goods we supply, we are unable to provide a refund if your cancellation is made after the date of despatch.

14.4.3 In cases of defective goods or services, then we shall provide a replacement at our cost


15. General:

15.1 These terms will govern the contract between us and you and will prevail over any terms put forward by you, unless we expressly agree to them in writing. No conduct by us, our employees, agents or sub-contractors shall be deemed to constitute acceptance of any terms put forward by you.

15.2 Once we notify you that we accept your order, both us and you will have entered into a legally binding contract. However, you have a short time in which to cancel this contract. Your right to cancel, and the procedure to follow is set out in paragraph 13 above.

1.The information we collect about you:

The type of information we collect about you includes: Your name. Your address. Your phone number. Your e-mail address. Your credit/debit card holder details. Your recipient addresses & details. We shall not collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.

The personal information we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. The personal information you enter, such as during registration and the contents of your address book, is protected by the unique username & password that you provide. This allows you to gain access to a specific areas and services. We do not disclose these access codes to any other party. You must ensure your username & password are kept in a safe and secure place and that you do not disclose them to anyone.

The Website uses Secure Socket Layers (SSL), the most advanced security system available. All of the personal information you enter, including your name, address, and the contents of your address book, is encrypted by secure server software before it is safely transmitted across the internet. Our Customer Service staff have access to this information.

We appreciate that many people use the same password for all their internet accounts and therefore this information is very sensitive. For this reason your password remains encrypted and we do not have access to it. If you have forgotten your password we can send you a new temporary password. You are then able to access your account and change the password to something which you will remember.


7. Payment Transaction Details :

Your card number details are handled directly by our Payment Provider Net Bank for transaction authorisation and are recorded on our secure database. Once we have received authorisation from our Payment Provider we shall confirm receipt of your order by e-mail and the Payment Provider shall email you the Payment Confirmation.


8. Cookies and Tracking:

In order to improve the service offered to you technology may be used to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to the site and to help personalise the content displayed to each user. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser.
