The Queensland government has unveiled a A$41 million (US$43.1 million) redevelopment plan to transform the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre into a state-of-the-art facility, but has said a more basic approach will be taken to other venues for the city’s staging of the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
