USA-All Blacks clash to be live streamed

The IEC in Sports and RDA TV agencies will provide free live streaming of Saturday’s USA v New Zealand rugby union international in 127 territories, through the backing of match presenting sponsor AIG.

All distribution and technical services for the live stream will be provided by IEC in Sports and RDA TV in partnership with live streaming platform Eversport.

The game will be streamed live on New Zealand’s official website, allblacks.com, and AIG is also supporting the availability of the match on a video on-demand (VOD) basis in certain territories, subject to broadcast restrictions.

New Zealand Rugby chief executive Steve Tew said: “We are very grateful for the support of our major global sponsor AIG in making this happen. Our partnership with AIG is helping to bring rugby to new fans in new places around the world and this live streaming initiative is another great example of the benefits we are seeing every day from this valuable partnership.”

The USA hosts reigning world champion New Zealand at Soldier Field, Chicago on Saturday in the first meeting between the two countries in the US for 34 years.

RDA TV and IEC in Sports secured a deal with USA Rugby to jointly market the global media rights to the match in June.
