Twitch extends partnership with Team Liquid

Social video platform Twitch has signed a long-term extension to its streaming partnership with esports outfit Team Liquid.

Twitch will continue to exclusively stream Team Liquid content across its platform as part of the extended agreement.

The ESPN.com website reported that the partnership would also include deals with production companies Liquid Media and 1Up Studios, which form part of the wider Team Liquid Enterprises organisation.

Twitch holds similar partnerships with the DreamHack and ELeague esports organisations.

Team Liquid, whose players compete in titles such as League of Legends and Counter Strike: Global Offensive, first partnered with Twitch in 2011.
