Sportdigital picks up rights to Scottish Premiership

German pay-television broadcaster Sportdigital has agreed a one-year deal for the rights to the Scottish Premiership, the top division of Scottish football.

The contract takes in the 2014-15 season of the Premiership. Sportdigital said the league will take the place of the Ekstraklasa, the top division of Polish football, in its schedules.

Sportdigital’s live coverage of the 2014-15 Premiership will commence with the visit of reigning champion Celtic to St Johnstone on August 13.
