The Slovak Olympic Committee (SOV) has entered into a partnership with the country’s national lottery operator Tipos.
The deal will run for two years, from 2014 until 2016.
Under the deal, Tipos will become an exclusive partner of both the Slovak Olympic Committee and the Slovak Olympian team. Tipos had previously served as a general sponsor of the SOV, but will now become its main commercial partner.
Tipos will support Slovakian athletes in the run up to and during the 2016 summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Slovakia won four medals at London 2012, highlighted by Zuzana Štefečeková’s silver in the women’s trap shooting event.
