Australian commercial broadcaster Seven has acquired rights for the 2016 summer Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The multimedia deal with the Australian Paralympic Committee covers free-to-air and pay-television rights as well as digital platforms.
Seven will show 14 hours of live coverage per day.
The Australian Paralympic Committee acquired the rights directly from the International Paralympic Committee.
Seven has signed up as the Australian Paralympic Committee’s first ever commercial broadcast partner for the Paralympics.
