Rio 2016 cutting costs to avoid overspend

Organisers of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro are to make cutbacks of up to 30 per cent as part of an effort to avoid overspending on their budget of R7.4bn (€1.65bn/$1.85bn).
