The Pyeongchang Organising Committee for the 2018 Olympic and Paralympic winter Games (POCOG) has signed its latest domestic sponsor for next year’s event through a deal with food products manufacturer Noodle Lovers.
The noodles and noodle sauces company will lend its support to South Korea’s Games in the packaged pasta/noodles and noodle sauce category.
Under the agreement, the company will provide financial support to assist POCOG with its preparations and delivery of the Games. Noodle Lovers will also be able to exercise various marketing rights as an official supporter including the use of intellectual properties and through the marketing partner recognition program.
POCOG vice-president of planning Kim Kihong said: “The level of support from local companies is really wonderful as it shows the passion and excitement for our country hosting this global event on our shores next year.”
