PSG suits up with Hugo Boss

Paris Saint-Germain has added another partner to its commercial portfolio with German fashion house Hugo Boss agreeing a deal with the French Ligue 1 football club for the 2014-15 season.

Under the terms of the deal, PSG’s players, along with coach Laurent Blanc and his staff will wear Hugo Boss formal wear for “official outings” in France and overseas.

The Hugo Boss agreement comes after PSG last week signed a partnership with Aurel BGC, the French affiliate of US financial services firm BGC Partners, and confirmed a deal with French energy company GDF Suez.

The agreement with Aurel BGC will run for two seasons, from 2014-15 to 2015-16, while the deal with GDF Suez will run for three seasons, from 2014-15 to 2016-17.

PSG has endured a slow start to the season, with Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Olympique Lyonnais raising question marks over the future of Blanc. PSG currently sits fifth in Ligue 1, three points behind leader Olympique de Marseille.
