Indonesian tyre manufacturer Multistrada has signed a three-year global partnership with French Ligue 1 football club Paris Saint-Germain.
The agreement will cover the 2016-17 to 2018-19 seasons and names Multistrada’s Achilles and Corsa brands official tyre partners of PSG. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Multistrada’s president and director, Pieter Tanuri, said: “Beyond the increasing popularity of the Parisian club in Indonesia, this partnership should enable us to increase our visibility on an international scale and transmit the values of excellence, performance and social responsibility that drive us.”
PSG achieved the domestic treble this season by winning the Ligue 1 title and the Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue knockout competitions. The club said it has more than 2.6 million Indonesian fans on Facebook.
