Explosives and mining chemicals company Orica has signed a two-year extension to its title sponsorship of the Australian GreenEdge UCI WorldTour cycling team.
Additionally, Orica will undertake the same designation with the AIS women’s cycling team for another two seasons, from 2015 to 2016.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
“The Orica-GreenEdge partnership has been a resounding success with Orica’s sponsorship helping the team deliver world-class performances which in turn have generated global exposure for Orica," company representative Gavin Jackman said.
Since its inception, Orica-GreenEdge has recorded more than 100 victories and it was the third most successful WorldTour team during the 2014 season.
