Pharmaceuticals company Velpeau has agreed a deal to sponsor the playing socks of French Ligue 1 football club AS Nancy-Lorraine.
The deal runs until the end of the 2016-17 season and will see Velpeau’s branding feature on the back of Nancy’s socks. The agreement will just cover Ligue 1 games.
The partnership, which is the first of its kind for the club, commenced with the 1-0 victory over SC Bastia on Saturday.
