IMG divests majority share in Enetpulse APS

The IMG agency has divested its majority interest in live sports data provider Enetpulse APS back to the Danish management of the Enetpulse Group as part of a move to consolidate its sports streaming and live data business.

IMG will retain sole ownership of the official fastpath data business to the betting industry. This will include data from the Association of Tennis Professionals, Women’s Tennis Association and the Badminton World Federation global governing bodies.

Enetpulse APS will continue to provide technical delivery services of the fastpath data to IMG customers for a further 12 months.

After the expiry of the transitional services period, IMG will consolidate and streamline the technical delivery of the fastpath data alongside its own existing streaming solution.

Michel Masquelier, chairman of IMG Events & Media, said: “With IMG's rapidly expanding portfolio of live data and streaming content, we felt this was the right time to consolidate all IMG distributed gaming content under one solution – which we feel is also important for our brand positioning within the market.”

IMG first acquired its share in Enetpulse two years ago.
