The Fight Sports pay-television channel will launch in Spain after media company CSI Sports, the owner of the channel, agreed a multi-year carriage deal with pay-television operator Ono.
Fight Sports will launch on Ono with major live boxing events including the title rematch between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Marcos Maidana on September 13 and heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko’s mandatory defence against Kubrat Pulev. The latter fight was originally scheduled for September 6, but on Monday was postponed to a later date.
The programming line-up will also includes the exclusively live HBO World Championship Boxing series, World Championship Kickboxing, mixed martial arts and multiple martial arts tournaments from around the world.
