Fifa secures Under-20 World Cup rights partner in host nation

World football’s governing body Fifa has agreed a deal with pay-television broadcaster Sky New Zealand for the broadcast rights to its 2015 Under-20 World Cup, which is being hosted in the country.

Sky New Zealand will broadcast live coverage of each match of the national team tournament across its various Sky Sports channels.

Sky will also make a selection of content available via its free-to-air channel Prime.

Coverage on Prime will include the opening game of the tournament between the host nation and Ukraine on May 30.

Prime will also broadcast match highlights as well as delayed coverage of New Zealand games and the final.

The 2015 Under-20 World Cup will take place from May 30 until June 20.
