Fifa facing legal challenge over treatment of Qatar’s World Cup workers

Fifa is facing legal action in the Swiss courts over alleged complicity in the mistreatment of migrant labourers working on Qatar’s infrastructure projects for the 2022 World Cup, while football’s world governing body has agreed a partnership with global measurement and analytics company Nielsen for Russia’s staging of the 2018 tournament.
