Airport retailer Dubai Duty Free has extended a title sponsorship agreement with UK horseracing event the Shergar Cup.
Dubai Duty Free will retain naming rights to the annual event, which takes place at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire, England, until 2019 as part of the new four-year deal.
The 2016 edition of the Shergar Cup took place on Saturday and featured a total prize fund of £270,000 (€318,000/$352,000). The event was won by the Rest of the World team, led by Silvestre de Sousa.
The team event also includes groups representing Great Britain & Ireland, Europe and ‘The Girls’.
