Cheetahs gear up for Super Rugby season with Twizza deal

South African Super Rugby team the Free State Cheetahs has agreed a shirt sponsorship deal with soft drinks brand Twizza.

The Queenstown-based company’s branding will appear on the right upper chest area of the Cheetahs’ playing jerseys during this year’s Super Rugby season. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The Cheetahs’ managing director Harold Vester also confirmed that Twizza will have sole soft drink pouring rights inside the Free State Stadium, the team’s home venue in Bloemfontein.

The Cheetahs kick off their 2016 Super Rugby campaign with a home game against Argentinian team the Jaguares on February 26.
