CBS adds live NFL to streaming service

US network CBS has agreed a deal with the NFL American football league to add live coverage of games to its ‘CBS All Access’ streaming service.

The multi-year agreement, which comes into effect from December 4, will cover regular, pre-season and post-season matches.

CBS All Access subscribers can stream all games featured in the network’s ‘NFL on CBS’ package, as well as pre-game and half-time coverage.

In addition, from the 2017-18 season, CBS All Access and eligible pay-television subscribers will be able to stream NFL on CBS content on NFL digital properties.

All NFL on CBS games will remain available on mobile devices through the NFL’s official application for Verizon Wireless customers.

CBS All Access users will also have the option to sample various content from the league’s NFL Game Pass digital video subscription service, which offers games and other programming on-demand.
