BT Sport to use Premier League game for virtual reality trial

UK pay-television broadcaster BT Sport will undertake a virtual reality experience trial during tomorrow’s (Saturday’s) English Premier League football match between Arsenal and Chelsea.

BT Sport will film the game with virtual reality cameras and work with virtual reality platform company LiveLike to offer fans four different viewpoints.

Customers can take part in the trial at four flagship London stores run by BT's mobile network subsidiary EE.

Virtual reality headsets and tablets will be available at EE stores in Westfield Stratford, Oxford Street, Marble Arch and Tottenham Court Road.

Arsenal hosts Chelsea at its Emirates Stadium at 5.30pm BST.
