British Eurosport signs Sky Go deal

British Eurosport, the UK arm of pan-regional broadcaster Eurosport, has expanded the reach of its British Eurosport 2 channel by agreeing a carriage deal with pay-television broadcaster BSkyB to feature on its Sky Go mobile television service.

British Eurosport 2 has been added to Sky Go’s line-up alongside channels from commercial broadcasters ITV and Channel Five.

With BSkyB’s Sky Sports channels already available through Sky Go, along with the British Eurosport channel, British Eurosport 2 will add content from the likes of the British Superbikes motorcycling championship and American football league the NFL.

At the end of September 2014, Sky Go had over 5.6 million registered customers in the UK.
