German sports equipment company Adidas has extended its agreement with the Ekstraklasa, the top division of Polish football, to continue as its exclusive ball supplier for the 2016-17 season.
The current contract between the Ekstraklasa and Adidas began with the ongoing 2014-15 campaign and is due to run through 2015-16.
The new terms come into effect for 2016-17, when Adidas will launch two matchballs – one for games during autumn and the other for spring matches.
Adidas and the Ekstraklasa will continue to promote replica matchballs through their respective retail partners.
