Adelaide United sustains shirt sponsor deal

Australian A-League football team Adelaide United has announced a two-year extension to its shirt sponsorship deal with recycling and waste management company Veolia.

Under the agreement, Veolia remains as Adelaide United’s major partner until the end of the 2015-16 season. Financial terms were not disclosed.

In recognition of the partnership extension, Adelaide United will wear a Veolia branded strip for the remainder of its FFA Cup campaign, while the French-based multinational company will continue to engage with the club’s supporter base through fan competitions and grassroots initiatives.

Adelaide United secured a sixth-place finish in the 2013-14 A-League standings before bowing out 1-0 against Central Coast Mariners in the elimination finals.
