Netherlands new favourites according to Hypercube and Infostrada Sports
After knocking Brazil out last Friday, the Netherlands have become the new favourites for the 2010 World Cup according to the Euro Club Index methodology employed by Hypercube and Infostrada Sports to predict the World Cup. The Dutch now have a 35% chance of winning this year's World Cup having overtaken previous favourites Brazil and Spain.
The Spanish are second favourites (31%), Germany have a 24% probability of lifting the trophy and Uruguay are the outsiders with a 10% chance. The Netherlands head the list since Spain and Germany have to overcome each other in the semis. If Spain progress at the expense of the Germans they will regain the lead and be the favourites against the Dutch.
