London 2012 chief claims Olympics will hit revenue target

London 2012 chief executive Paul Deighton has stated that the organising committee (LOCOG) is set to meet its target of raising £2 billion to stage the Games, but has admitted that sceptical Britons still need “warming up” ahead of this summer’s event.
