Trollope is a highly experienced practicing barrister specialising in business crime, regulatory, tax, money-laundering and asset recovery cases. He has represented clients in a number of high-profile cases, most recently Storrie's, who was cleared of all charges. Trollope is a member of a number of committees concerned with major changes in international legal relations which impact the football world.
In a dedicated workshop Trollope will discuss key legal matters affecting the game today including the issue of match fixing. The session will also consider the new anti-corruption laws which are being implemented worldwide. Finally, Trollope will speak about the financial standing of football now that UEFA's Financial Fair Play (FFP) policy outlaws some of the financial support provided by wealthy club benefactors.
