The two executives will provide individual presentations as part of the 'Events that last a lifetime - Infrastructure and Sustainability' session that will explore best practice in organising events that support the community and leave a lasting legacy. Populous has been responsible for creating some of the most iconic stadia in world sport, including Wembley Stadium and the revamped Melbourne Cricket Ground. Rapiscan is the official security equipment and systems supplier to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The Individual presentations will be followed by a panel discussion hosted by Ben Avison, editor of Host City Magazine. 'Events that last a lifetime - Infrastructure and Sustainability' is just one in a series of major event-focused stadia sessions scheduled for this year's Soccerex conference line-up. Other sessions include 'Danny Jordaan's Winning team', 'Stadia Solutions' and a dedicated workshop on security issues.
In addition to a focus on major events, this year's conference programme will also include sessions on the 2014 FIFA World Cup, agencies, performance, social media and commercial success. This year's Soccerex Global Convention will take place from November 20-26 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. For further information, visit www.soccerex.com.
