Big names confirmed for Rugby Expo sessions

Stellar names from rugby business and administration have been confirmed as participants in the conference sessions at Rugby Expo 2011.

The speakers, who will discuss the key issues facing rugby, will include International Rugby Board (IRB) chief executive Mike Miller, Premier Rugby CEO Mark McCafferty and Rugby Football Union operations director Rob Andrew at the event at Twickenham Stadium in London on November 23-24. England 2015 Rugby World Cup chief Paul Vaughan and John O'Neill, head of the Australian Rugby Union, will also be speaking at Rugby Expo 2011.

Miller, Vaughan and O'Neill will open the event by assessing whether the IRB Rugby World Cup has helped to establish the sustainable development of rugby worldwide. Another debate will look at whether the best promoters of community rugby clubs are the National Rugby Unions or professional leagues and their clubs. David Hutchinson, commercial director of Rugby Football League Super League club Warrington Wolves, will discuss the rugby league team's success in developing its brand.

"We are delighted with the support of these high-calibre speakers," said Rugby Expo project director Jonathan Wilson. "They are all highly experienced and influential individuals whose actions and opinions will help decide how rugby develops at all levels." For further information, visit www.rugbyexpo.com.
