The fourth edition of the event will be staged after this year’s edition focused on a debate on the subject of ‘Sport: What’s next?’ More than 1,200 delegates from over 65 nations attended the 2011 Global Sports Forum Barcelona last month.
This year’s event attracted the likes of French Sports Minister Chantal Jouanno, Spanish Secretary of Sport Jaime Lissavetzky, Sochi 2014 chief Dmitri Chernyshenko, Eurosport CEO Laurent-Eric Le Lay and David Sternberg, head of Universal Sports.
“Save the date for Global Sports Forum Barcelona 2012 and stay connected with its multifaceted community,” said Lucien Boyer, general commissioner of the Forum and CEO of Havas Sports & Entertainment.
“We want to move forwards in the same spirit of the 2011 edition: fast and punchy debates, sports icons confronting their experience with delegates, digital being at the centre of all these interactions,” he added.
