TSE Consulting looks to new future with buy-out

TSE Consulting is to be acquired by a private group consisting of TSE management and external investors as it aims to further develop its place in the global sports market.

The deal encompasses TSE Consulting’s headquarters in Lausanne and regional offices around the world, following on from November’s announcement of a change in strategy by TSE Group. Late last year TSE Group revealed it would change its name to Porta Communications and potentially dispose the entire issued share capital of TSE Consulting.

Porta will now proceed with its strategy to establish an international communications and marketing business, while TSE Consulting will focus on building on its status as a leader in sports event bidding and hosting consultancy, strategic management and communication. The sale of TSE Consulting is subject to shareholder approval, which is expected to be confirmed in the middle of April.

Lars Haue-Pedersen, managing director of TSE Consulting, said: "TSE is a very attractive company so there has been interest from many different sides. We are happy that we were able to acquire the company and look forward to continuing to service our clients worldwide and develop the company further."
