brandRapport signs up trio of new clients

The Hong Kong office of leading marketing agency brandRapport has struck deals with golf body The R&A, Asian clothing label UFL and the AirAsia Hong Kong Beach 5s rugby tournament.

The R&A, which operated under the Royal and Ancient Golf Club name until its rebranding in 2004, will use the agency to publicise its golf development programmes in the region through the Rules Schools program in China and Vietnam. Meanwhile UFL has become a sponsor of the Faldo Series Asia and brandRapport will be responsible for specific social media elements of the sponsorship activation programme.

“It has been a great start to the year for us and we are delighted to have been appointed by three such high profile clients,” said brandRapport associate director Damien McDowell.

“The Asian market is showing strong signs of growth once more and we now feel we are well placed to meet the needs of the many exciting brands in the region which are increasingly looking at major sponsorship programmes as the way to reach their target market,” he added.
