Soccerex confirms new speakers

Soccerex has confirmed a raft of top new speakers for its upcoming European Forum in Manchester.

Manchester City midfielder Patrick Vieira, Spanish La Liga president Jose Luis Astiazaran and European Professional Football Leagues (EPFL) CEO Emanuel Madeiros will take part in a press conference on European football's "Professional Football Against Hunger" project.

Italian Football Federation chief development officer Michele Uva will also give a special presentation on "Development of innovation - which strategy fits best for the future of a modern FA?" Uva said: "With so many of the football world in attendance, Soccerex is the ideal place for us to discuss the future of modern FAs."

Aston Villa manager Gerard Houllier, Professional Footballers Association (PFA) chairman Clarke Carlisle and Wasserman Media Group chief operating officer Sam Rush will also speak at the event, which will take place on March 30-31 in Manchester. The trio will be part of a panel that will discuss the question of "Will financial regulation improve football?"

The announcements have been made ahead of the final price deadline for the event this week - the last chance for delegates to receive a discount. For further information about the event, call +44 (0)208 7427100 or visit www.soccerex.com/europe.
