The consultancy is the brainchild of David McHugh and Maeve Buckley. McHugh previously ran Tri-Line Sports Solutions for six years, prior to which he was team manager for Leinster rugby. Buckley was previously CEO of sports marketing agency Platinum One, where he oversaw that company’s expansion into the UK and Spain, while also developing relationships with, amongst others, Spanish La Liga clubs FC Barcelona and Real Madrid.
“We expect a turnover of about €400,000 in year one, given our existing clients and athlete base from Tri-Line Sports Solutions, and are pretty secure about that, despite the current economic climate,” said McHugh.
“This launch is particularly important to me, as I have spent many years developing my business and am delighted to now segue it into the next stage. Having people based in two countries, and with office support and a network of trusted suppliers in both, makes us scalable for the bigger projects, but yet retaining flexibility. We currently have three employees and would hope to double that over the next two years.”
Current Line Up clients include Dublin City Council, HSBC, and rugby player Rob Kearney.
