British Olympic consultant Reddin joins Leaders in Performance

Leaders in Performance has announced Dave Reddin, performance consultant to the British Olympic Association and former member of English rugby union team backroom staff, will be speaking on a panel based around analysis in sport at this year’s conference.

Reddin was a key member of the Rugby Football Union and the country’s national team during the most successful period in England rugby history, culminating with success at the 2003 Rugby World Cup. During his time, Reddin implemented the England rugby injury audit project, the most comprehensive study of injury in professional sport ever conducted.

Reddin left rugby in 2006 after two World Cups, one British and Irish Lions tour, 10 Six Nations Championships and over 100 international test matches. His current role is performance consultant to the British Olympic Association.

Sharing his expertise in the session dubbed ‘The numbers never lie: How analysis leads to certainty in a changing word’, Reddin will discuss human performance and how analysing the mind, biomechanics, time motion ratios, speed and agility can get the most out of players. The session will also cover what level of due diligence is necessary to successfully identify, develop and manage talent.

Taking place Chelsea FC for the second time on October 7 this year, Leaders in Performance is an international conference dedicated to the identification, development and management of talent. For more information call +44 (0) 208 545 1595 or email performance@leadersinfootball.com.
