The event took place on Annecy’s proposed site for opening and closing ceremonies of the 2018 Olympics.
Over 40 athletes were present to demonstrate sports including freestyle skiing, biathlon, bobsleigh, roller-skating and snowboarding. The day concluded with a music concert and a fireworks display.
Annecy is facing competition from Munich and Pyeongchang in South Korea for the right to host the 2018 Games.
