McDonald's renews Euro sponsorship

Fast food giant McDonald's has renewed its deal with Uefa to be official restaurant and Eurotop partner of all national team competitions until 2017, covering Euro 2012 and Euro 2016.

McDonald's previous agreement with Uefa, covering Euro 2004 and 2008, was worth $12.5 million per year.

The fast food chain has sponsored the European football championship since 1992. It becomes the sixth Euro 2012 global partner under its new deal, joining Adidas, Castrol, Coca-Cola, Hyundai-Kia, and Carlsberg.
