FIFA secretary general Jérôme Valcke has criticised Brazil for the country’s severe delays on preparations for the 2014 World Cup.
Valcke said he received a report yesterday showing various host cities are already behind schedule.
“I have to say it is not very nice,” he revealed. “It is amazing how Brazil is already late. And I am not just talking about Morumbi or Maracana stadiums, I am talking about a number of stadiums.”
The secretary general explained that it is still too early to consider the exclusion of one or more of the 12 host cities for not delivering what has been promised.
