Megapro continues to market South African rugby

The South African Rugby Union (SARU) has renewed its contract with local sports marketing agency Megapro Marketing for the next five years.

“I’m delighted to confirm that our good friends at Megapro have been reappointed as our exclusive commercial agents,” said SARU President, Oregan Hoskins.

Megapro’s duties cover procuring sponsors for South African national teams, and competitions organised by SARU, including domestic top-tier competition the Absa Currie Cup, and second-tier competition the Vodacom Cup.

SARU said a significant increase in its revenues in the past five years could be attributed to Megapro’s work in that period.
