London will take on Beijing and Polish city Chorzow for the right to stage athletics' 2015 World Championships, the BBC reports.

The International Association of Athletics Federations will announce its choice of venue after a council meeting on November 10.

The next two World Athletics Championships take place first in Daegu, South Korea, in 2011, and then in Moscow in 2013.
