England 2010 World Cup base partners with Soccerex

Football business event Soccerex has announced a global partnership with Royal Bafokeng, the South African region where England will be based for this year’s FIFA World Cup campaign.

The Royal Bafokeng region, an event partner during Soccerex Global Convention’s three-year tenure in South Africa, extended its relationship to cover Soccerex’s global portfolio of football business events.

“Our relationship with Soccerex over the last three years has helped position Royal Bafokeng as an important player in South African football, but we want to be recognised as a key player worldwide,” said Niall Carroll, CEO of Royal Bafokeng Holdings, the entity responsible for the management and development of the commercial assets of the Royal Bafokeng Nation.

Carroll will be in attendance at next week’s Soccerex European Forum in Manchester, from March 2-3, where he will be joined by over 1000 senior football industry executives.
