Tagged in , &

Uefa’s intended system of “Financial Fair Play”, a number of regulatory provisions to be implemented gradually over the next three years to take full effect in the 2012-13 season, is one of the many hot topics in discussion at the ISPO Sports Business Summit (SpoBiS) in Munich on February 22 and 23.

Football executives Martin Kind (President of Bundesliga Team Hannover 96), Frank Rutten (CEO of the Dutch Eredivisie), Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros (CEO of the EPFL), and Christian Müller (Member of the UEFA Club Licensing Commission) will discuss the “Financial Fair Play” system on the SpoBiS main stage.

SpoBiS will host 20 special-interest forums and 160 notable speakers including Herbert Hainer (CEO, Adidas), Jonathan Hill (COO, Kentaro), Uli Hoeneß (President, FC Bayern München), Tor Lian (President, EHF), Christian Müller (UEFA), and Alexander Koch (FIFA).

This year will also be the first time the principal shareholders of sports marketing agencies Infront Sports & Media and Sportfive speak about their companies’ futures. Dr. Andreas Jacobs (Principle Shareholder and Executive Board President for Infront) will discuss the ways investment agencies like his own, Jacobs Holding, have fueled sports investment and Olivier Guiguet (CEO of Lagardère Sports) will reveal his plans for Sportfive and discuss his views on current market issues.
