ustralian Sponsorship News reports that the league’s governors told clubs last year they would be allowed to let betting companies sponsor their jerseys from the 2010 season. The decision followed the league agreeing a new central sponsorship with bookie Tabcorp.
Sportingbet has bought a space on the lower back of the Broncos jersey for the 2010 season. The company already has a signage advertising deal with the club.
